The fact that we have access to fresh ingredients at the global level gives us the freedom to experience and test new recipes. However, the quality of said ingredients can at times be doubtful and although we are aware of their processed levels, we may still use the daily.
One of the ways to celebrate diversity is to research the products we have access to. The impact of information is established at the individual level by deciding its relevance at a given time, the urgency of consumption, curiosity and the people in our entourage that can influence our perception.
We have access to information on products and we look into them to a certain point. Of course we care about how we feed our bodies, but if we are given a choice between accessibility and quality, it’s easy to see how processed and not always qualitative products come in more handy. Because it may look like a bigger effort to identify reliable sources to obtain those quality products. Because we live at a fast pace where stopping for even a second is a luxury we rarely afford.
So because we care about our health, we strive to find the best products. And for this reason, we insist on eating fresh produce, yet we sometimes compromise for various reasons. Where does the balance lie and how can we adapt to adopting healthy habits?
